Real estate attorneys recognize the UCC. But the UCC doesn't apply to real estate. The UCC governs the sale of goods only.

What exactly do you mean by UCC? I never heard of it before in Real Estate.
UCC applies to personal property rights not real property rights it's applicability to real estate lies in the chattel (personal property) contents of the real estate not the real estate proper. A major influence of the UCC lies in rental agreements See this link:

Rental Agreements and the UCC for academic research from Cornell University: http://www.law.cornell.edu/ucc/2A/

As to attorneys, they are bound to adhere to the law and it's applicability in the representation of their clients, if in their opinion a certain law will not offer the proper representation of their client's case then so be it.

As to foreclosure information you might want to research these links
