You could try Firefox as an alternative browser as it has better support than Netscape..
You should really download Mozilla Firefox. I had the same problem with IE and then I downloaded Firefox and all my problems disappeared I highly recommend it!!
I think you have a proxy enabled, because if you have working Internet though Netscape/Mozilla, you should get it for IE. In IE7, go to Tools then Internet Options, select the Connections tab and click LAN settings. Deselect the :Use a proxy server for your Lan..... option. Try then to see if your IE can make a connection. If that doesn't work, im not fully sure what can. Also just a suggestion, what you might want to do is upgrade to the Mozilla Firefox browser. Its sortof like Netscape/Mozilla accept it has a ton of other features including skins and addons. One of those addons would be IETab, an extention that allows you to have IE 'run' in the Firefox window so you can visit the IE only and IE needed sites in Firefox.

Hope that helps :)
Use Mozilla Firefox it is easy as iexplorer and its free to download
Hi! There! You sound like you may need to empty some temporary Internet files, and old cookies you have packed up in Internet Explorers stores.

Get Internet Explorer up and then click on Tools/Internet Options/ Delete Temporary Internet Files.

Click on Start/Search/ type "cookies" without the quotes in the search area. When the folders with Cookies appears right click on the folder and click to open it.

To find out which cookies are important to you for your IE game site and make sure you don't delete them as they may be sign on cookies you will need to find cookies which remembers you ; your game scores ; or information for the games you play when you come back the next time.

When you delete the cookies manually they will all be in the Recycling bin. Click on Edit, Select all, and Delete. If you get a message that anything can not be deleted, just leave the one that can't be deleted then delete the rest in groups or one at a time. Press the left mouse button and drag the arrow over all that can be deleted let go of the mouse so all are highlighted. Right click on the area inside the highlighted Cookies and Delete.

Now try signing on to your game sites and see if that helped clear up the problem.

Then open that cookie folder again and see which cookies are in there. They will be the ones you want to keep next time around if; you had to sign back in, or, reenter any of your past information.

Now here's the easy part. Go to your Recycle bin and find the identical cookies from your previous bunch to the ones you found after going to the gamer site. Restore just those to your Cookies folder, IF You Need them. Then in the future keep track of the cookies you want to keep and throw out the rest along with all the Temporary Internet Files.

First, delete all those Temporary Internet Files as they may be bogging down Internet Explorer.
