Are there any East Indian men out there who aren't so traditional?

I am East Indian and have dated an Indian man and a Canadian man. I was born and raised in Canada, and I have a Western mentality, point is I am more Canadian than I am Indian.

I have no problem at all with different races, yet everyone says my life will be easier if I marry an Indian man.

Problem is, I find most of the Indian men with tradional mentality, ie. strict, controlling, etc etc.

I know there are Indian men out there who are more Western like I am, but where are they?
