I need help with anti spyware and stuff..?

recently, ccleaner was deleted from my limited account (on the computer..)

so all these popups for fake anti spyware are coming up.

i want to know, can i download ccleaner again and everything will be okay?

i also had a problem with ultimate cleaner not too long ago.. =[

so.. ?

on the administrator account, on IE, there is something called IE toolbar or something.

it's attatched to the tools, and there's no way of getting it off.

i read another post, and it said, put your computer on safe mode.

i tried that, and the computer was just BIG! the letters, and everything. it all looked old fashioned (and gay).. =\

Update it befor running then do a full system scan,clean all infections.

Try to reset your IE to original manufacture setting,this will return all setting that may be changed from the worm or trojan u got infected with,this will also return your home page to the default one.....this can be done if you ar using IE7 from tools,internet option,advanced then click Reset in the reset internet explorer setting.

Remember to turn your system restore in off position when cleaning viruses!....I also would recommend to do a scan with the AVG antipsyware,it's a very good spyware %26amp; trojan removal unlike the AVG antivirus product! which is in my openion crap!.....AVG helped me alot when ad-aware or spybot failed to detect or remove a worm from my pc,

Spyware problems are very common. You should ALWAYS, always, always have a few spyware scanners, most of one or two of them. There has been this problem before, I answered, and she finally got Ccleaner back. However, uninstall any unknown toolbars or addons from add/remove programs that just came on and end any processes you don't need or may seem very suspicious.

What you might be wondering is how to get rid of "Internet Explorer Addons." You can get rid of them by...

1) Open IE

2) Go to tools, in the drop-down menu select "Manage Add-Ons..."

That will help you select your add-ons, by just clicking enable and disable on the add-on you have selected.

There are some very good programs out there and that are free, try zone alarm. It gives a full 15 days for the good versions of the program, I suggest you run a scan on your computer. Although you may want to consider buying a full version to protect your computer, protecting your valuable information i.e. credit cards, personal information, (it's almost like insurance).

CCleaner is not an anti-spyware nor is it an anti-virus program. It simply frees up space on your hard drive by cleaning up un-needed 'crap' (hence the name). It is extremely doubtful that it will be of any help with your spyware issue.

Phony alerts or "balloon" pop-ups about a spyware infection and the attempt to sell you some useless software to "fix" the problem usually indicates that your computer has a Smitfraud infection. DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT THEY TRY TO SELL YOU!

Sounds like your computer may have a variant of this ubiquitous Smitfraud infection. Almost all "general purpose","all-in one" spyware and virus removal programs such as AVG, Norton, or Spybot S %26amp; D cannot remove it compleatly.
